All the parts of this toy can be moved and pulled in just about every way imaginable! The Apple Wood can be pulled back and forth through the large block leaving some hanging much lower than the other. Your bird will stretch and reach and eventually learn that to get to the apple wood at the lowest point he/she will have to pull the chain further on one side to get that lowered piece of wood! All of the Wood Beads and Rings on this toy can be moved up and down the chain and the unique textures of the beads will have your bird experimenting and chewing away starting with the ones they have deemed "best."
